You’re a Rich Man

Everybody's happy today.

Everybody's happy today.

Some days you just wake up happy.  Christmas, your birthday, Opening Day.  This morning, and I swear this had nothing to do with the Hall & Oates song that woke me up, I had that warm and fuzzy feeling.  The start of the (Sox’) playoffs is like Opening Day II: a fresh start, with new possibilities for greatness.  Of course, there are new possibilities for terrible, gut-wrenching defeats as well.  I guess my mood at wake up tomorrow depends on a man named Jon.  Normal for a Friday.

All you need to start your day off right, thanks to a man named Jeremy:

The Sox kick-off their post-season play tonight at 9:30 out in LA, which means all of New England will be tired and cranky tomorrow if they can’t get it done.  Here’s hopin for a win!

How will the season end up?  Nobody knows.  But how we got here, that’s a different story

As the Sox enter the time of year that many would say is the most important, Rob Bradford says that the Sox’ most important days may have been in late July.

And, other than Terry Francona’s punching bag, who is the man with the awkwardly-placed C’s, Mike Scioscia?

Some say the Celtics lost their post-season opener last night in Houston, 96-90.  But any Celtics fan knows it was a win, after seeing a healthy KG score on the C’s first possession of the year.  And after seeing Sheed draw his first technical foul as a Celtic. What a game.

But how will the acquisition of Sheed shakeup the team?  I’m not sure why, but Perk isn’t worried.

Another day I would wake up happy: the day I was playing softball with The Boss.

Today’s Twitterfeed Of The Day: Braylon Edwards, in honor of him becoming a L-O-S-E-R Jets! Jets! Jets!

I also have no issue with LeBron.

Don’t forget, fellow Boston bloggers NorthStationSports is giving away Larry Legend’s autograph.

And remember, Say money, but it won’t get you too far.  Get you too far.
